Want to dye light brown hair dark red with revlon?

Can you suggest a number that would look good? Also. How will it look? Will I get the exact box color without pre bleaching ( DONT WANT TO).

And will it fade to orange?Want to dye light brown hair dark red with revlon?
DONT GET REVLON!

omg i just dyed my hair black with that brand and i stained my sclap whatev. it looks a mess now.. you cant really tell its on my head but it just makes it look like i have an extremly weird hair line.

so i reccomed something else.. i know revolons the cheapest right now but not worth it.Want to dye light brown hair dark red with revlon?
if you put a dark red dye over light brown hair, it will NOT fade to orange. it will eventually fade back to brown, albeit a darker one than at first.

there are guides on boxes that can give you an approximate color of what your hair will turn out to look like. remember, the longer you leave it on, the more intense it will be. don't leave it on for more than 30-40 minutes!

a brighter, richer red dye will most likely get the results you're looking for when put to light brown hair.
Have you ever dyed your hair before?

If you've never dyed your hair before ... you can put pretty much any shade of the red on and it should come out the right colour [or near enough] without you needing to bleach it.

If you HAVE dyed your hair before then you can only dye it a darker colour without having to bleach it.

I'm not familiar with the revlon number system, only the proper hairdressing one. Based on the proper hairdressing number system, USED IN SALONS NOT HOME DYES, I would say that anything that begins with a number 4 or 5 would be good.

But like I said, Revlon probably don't use the same number system.

Good luck!

P.S = No it won't fade to orange if you don't bleach your hair.
if you decide to do htis be care careful with your color choices, i work at a hair salon and one of my costemers had done this and there hair turned bright orange, im just warning you. be carefull

ihope this helped you,

Hello? U must go to a stylist to get a good accurate read of your hair. So much depends on what you will do...otherwise...a roll of the dice!!

No one can give you a ';number'; and would be irresponsible if they did, to advise you on what would be right for you if they had not seen your air and diagnosed the condition, tensity, and porosity of your hair.

If you think this is simple...you are wrong.

Be smart...save money...get a free consultation to find out what is best for you.

Good Luck!!
