Do you have to reapply the topcaot to revlon clorstay to keep it moist and shiny?

i am looking for the best long lasting lip stuff that doesn't test on animals. lots of the long lasting stuff i tried like covergirl outlast double lip shine required you to reapply the clear top coat. so i want a long lasting lip thing that doesn't need to be reapplied(base and top coat) and that isn't drying and is moisturizing.Do you have to reapply the topcaot to revlon clorstay to keep it moist and shiny?
Covergirl does test on animals...so I'd avoid them if that's important to you. I use the Revlon Colorstay sometimes and the color does stay on for hours, but it feels very dry if you don't keep reapplying the topcoat.Do you have to reapply the topcaot to revlon clorstay to keep it moist and shiny?
You don't HAVE to but it does help!!
